Shopping online and by phone at Brazen


We want your shopping experience to be as easy and enjoyable as possible. You can place your order online, by email or over the phone. Items are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK and are therefore fully insured. If your item is in stock and your order is placed before 1pm it will be delivered the very next day. To check if an item is in stock please phone our customer service team on 0141 552 4551 or +44 (0) 141 552 4551 (for overseas orders). For urgent orders we advise you contact us by phone to check stock availability and estimated delivery times.Overseas deliveries should arrive within 3-5 working days in Europe and within 5-7 working days for the US. Goods being delivered to The Rest Of The World should arrive within 7-10 working days.

To check on the status of an order or verify shipment, please call 0141 552 4551 or +44 (0) 141 552 4551 (for overseas orders). A Customer Service representative will be on hand to assist you from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. If an item is out of stock, a member of our Customer Service team will inform you as soon as possible by email advising you as to when you may expect delivery of your order.
 
All orders come packed in beautiful Brazen boxes. Please note that you can also have the gift delivered to the recipient by choosing to provide an alternative delivery address. If the name provided with the delivery address is different from that of the billing address, the invoice will be forwarded to the billing address.

All orders will be paid for in British Pounds but you are able to see the Euro and Dollar currency conversion by clicking on the buttons at the top of each page on the top bar of the site.

We carry most items in stock, however, occasionally there may be items on re-order or which need to be specially made for you. We will make every effort to have special orders completed for you in as short a time as possible, however we do advise customers that if  there are special requests or we need to source a particular stone for you this can take between 4 and 6 weeks.

Security Guarantee

Brazen web technology is hosted on a secure server using SSL technology (secure sockets layer) to ensure that all credit or debit card transactions are completely secure.

Every time we receive an order, we use fraud checking systems as well as authentication processes before we fulfil it.
When you use our website, the secure server will encrypt all of the personal information you send us, including credit or debit card numbers and names and addresses. Encryption turns the information you enter into complex code which is then securely transmitted.

We take all reasonable measures to keep your personal information, order and payment details secure. However, we cannot be held liable if an event beyond our control results in loss to you.

UK Next Day Delivery

Delivery to addresses within the UK costs £6.95 and orders received and cleared before 1pm Monday to Friday will be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery service the next working day. Orders placed before 1pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday. If you place your order after 1pm on Friday, it will be processed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 1 working day subject to product availability and clearance of payment. Please note that there are some areas within the UK where we cannot guarantee delivery before 1pm the next day, as detailed below.

We deliver within three working days by 5.30pm to the following islands: KW16-17 Orkney; PH30 Corrour; PH41 Mallaig; PH42 Eigg & Kuck; PH43-44 Rhum & Canna


Parcels will need to be signed for in person so please state your delivery address as an address where you will be present at the time of delivery (home or work). In the event that no-one is available to receive a Special Delivery item a card will be left providing you with the option to have the item delivered at a later date or to collect your parcel from your local collection depot.


 
International Delivery

Non-EU orders are exclusive of VAT. VAT (17.5%) will be removed from your order at checkout.

Delivery to EU addresses costs £10 and items should arrive within 3-5 working days. Deliveries to the US and the Rest Of The World are charged at  £15 and should arrive within 5-7 working days for the US and 7-10 working days for the rest of the world. Parcels will need to be signed for in person so please ensure the delivery address is an address where you will be at (home or work). If you are not present when your parcel is delivered, the courier company will leave a calling card and you will be able to reschedule your delivery for a more convenient time.

Delivery times in Europe , the US and the Rest of the World are estimated and cannot be guaranteed as this is outwith our control. Should your item not arrive when expected please contact us and we will endeavour to help in any way we can. Please also note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.

The transaction is taken in GB Pounds Sterling but you are able to view the price in US Dollars or Euros by clicking on the small flags on the top bar of the site. Special Orders

At Brazen, we aim to please. If an item you have seen is no longer available, or if you would like to have something specially made, please ask us. The item will be a Special Order, which means it will be made especially for you as it is not a piece that we are carrying in stock. Due to this fact the piece of jewellery cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason unless it is faulty.

Once the request of a bespoke order has been verified we will send you a written confirmation of this with an estimated order time. We request that you reply to us via email to acknowledge and confirm that you are happy with the terms of the Special Order. The order can then be processed as soon as we receive payment. This can be made in full or by means of a 50% deposit with the balance paid when we receive your special piece of jewellery into stock and before we send it to you.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with your item you can return your jewellery providing it has not been worn or used. This excludes earrings which for hygiene reasons are non returnable unless faulty .Please contact our Customer Service Team by email or phone within 7 days of delivery if you wish to return an item.

All items can be exchanged for an alternative item or for a credit note. Brazen offers a full refund on any item that is deemed to be faulty. For returns of faulty goods please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email.

We request that all goods being returned from within the UK are returned within 7 days of delivery. Goods delivered outside the UK must be returned within 14 days of delivery and after contacting a member of our Customer Service Team.

Returns received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of Brazen and can only be refunded as a merchandise credit.

Exchanges are possible, but exchange items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.

Exchanges received outside of the above stated timescales are also subject to product availability . Any further returns of exchanged items outside the stated timescales will be refunded only as a merchandise credit.
Brazen will not accept returns for any items that have been worn or used.

We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery.

Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

How to proceed if you would like to return your goods from the UK

1. Please inform us if you wish to return an item as soon as possible by emailing us at excuseme@brazenstudios.co.uk or by calling us on 0141 552 4551 within 7 days of receiving your order.

2. All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment.


3. All items must be returned unworn and unused and be in their original condition..

4. Please place items in the original packaging and ensure the packaging is secure.

5. We request that returns are shipped through Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery. You should take your item for return to a Post Office for return by Royal Mail Special Delivery within 7 days of receiving your order.

6. A member of our Customer Service team will contact you as soon as your item is received to arrange your refund.


7. If you wish to exchange, please email us with your preferred item and we will reserve it for you if the item is in stock.


How to proceed if you would like to return your goods from overseas

1. Call +44 (0) 141 552 4551 or email excuseme@brazenstudios.co.uk within 7 working days of receipt of your item(s).

2. All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment.

3. All items must be unworn and unused and in their original condition.

4. Please  return the item in its original packaging and check it is secure.

5. Please ensure the goods are fully insured with your selected shipping agent. Shipping fees are non refundable.

6. A member of our Customer Service team will contact you when we receive the item and arrange your refund.


How to proceed if you wish to return faulty goods

1. In order to facilitate the return of faulty items you must contact us by emailing us at excuseme@brazenstudios.co.uk and follow the standard returns process as detailed above.

2. Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 3 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed to be subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.

3. Exchanges are possible if the item is available. We can only exchange faulty items for the same item subject to availability.

4. Where possible items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees

Receiving a refund

Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit or debit card including sales taxes for all EU country shipments excluding shipping charges. As previously stated, international customs duties and sales taxes are non- refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).


Gift Returns

If you have received an item from Brazen as a gift you can return it for an exchange within the parameters outlined in this Returns Policy. Please call us on 0141 552 4551 (UK) or +44 (0) 141 552 4551 (overseas) to arrange this.

Exchange:
You will be charged for any difference in cost and any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.
