REMODELLING

If you have items of jewellery you no longer wear, or perhaps were never your style, or pieces that have great sentimental value but are beyond restoration, we can help you to give them a new lease of life.

Remodelling is an excellent way of repurposing unworn jewellery, either into a completely new style, or a simple re-make so that it retains the original essence but ensures its longevity.

We can reset most gemstones and although we prefer to use fresh metal as this gives the perfect finish, for simpler designs we will happily discuss other options. We will assess any existing diamonds or gemstones and advise if they will be suitable for remodelling. Further down this page you’ll find a link to our remodelling terms which explains the limitations in more detail.

Following on from your initial no-obligation consultation with our Founding Director & Designer, Sarah, you will then be presented with a page of design options according to your stones and brief.* These sketches can then be refined and developed as necessary before choosing a final design and beginning physical production.

After the modelling and casting of your piece of jewellery has been completed, our Goldsmith & Setters will then begin the careful process of bringing it to life. They ensure each piece is expertly set, finished and polished to Brazen standards.

*Deposit is required to commence any creative work.
We generally provide up to 3 concept pages per project - If you require further pages, these may be subject to an additional charge.

Quote and invoice prices provided to you are valid for a limited period only. Prices may change if you adapt your design dramatically (i.e adding additional diamonds), or you put your project on hold during the process and market prices/materials  increase in the interim.

As a rough guide, bespoke remodelling starts from £750, but it is very dependant on the work involved plus the number of pieces being remodelled or remade.*

There are many variables when remodelling old jewellery, so please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements or click here to book an appointment.

*This guide also doesn’t include the value of any scrap metal that may be deducted from your costs.
