BRAZEN JEWELLERY WARRANTY & RETURNS

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

All Brazen jewellery is handcrafted to the highest standards and comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing or design faults. If such a fault occurs within 12 months, we will repair or replace the item, or affected parts, free of charge.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or stone loss from wear and tear, accidental knocks, improper care, or general use.

  • Loss, theft or damage to gemstones/diamonds provided by the client (e.g. heirloom stones)

  • Alterations or repairs carried out by another jeweller.

  • Chains and standard manufactured findings.

  • Jewellery knowingly exposed to risky activities or chemicals.


DESIGN CHOICE DISCLAIMER -

For bespoke pieces, any design features requested by the client that may affect durability (e.g. delicate settings or less resilient gemstones) are not covered. By approving a design, the client accepts responsibility for wear or damage arising from these features.

STONE CHARACTERISTICS -

Natural and lab-created gemstones may contain inclusions or unique features, which are normal and not considered defects. Some stones are sensitive to sunlight, temperature changes, or moisture. Familiarising yourself with your stone and following our care guide is recommended. Contact us if you notice changes in colour, clarity or feel.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Jewellery is not indestructible - even diamonds can be damaged. Regular care and periodic maintenance are essential. Signs of damage, such as loose stones or broken claws, should be reported immediately. We offer a complimentary annual steam clean and inspection to help maintain your pieces.

After the warranty period, repairs are assessed as customer damage and will be chargeable. Outwith the warranty you may use any reputable jeweller for repairs, and we sometimes recommend specialists for complex work. In some cases, we may suggest a full remake is a piece is beyond repair.

RETURNS POLICY

STUDIO COLLECTIONS: Items purchased from our website can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase (unworn and in original condition). Returns must be shipped within 14 days of notification. Credit notes can also be issued.

EXCEPTIONS: Sale items are exchange-only (credit note issued). Earrings are non-returnable due to hygiene reasons. Full bespoke items are non-returnable, though we strive to resolve any concerns.

Items returned by post are at the customer’s risk; we recommend using tracked and insured services like Royal Mail Special Delivery.
